Triton Risk Management support active fire protection requirements, including sprinkler, deluge, foam-based systems and all associated water supplies. We advise how to maintain the performance of existing or inherited systems, following both industry standards and best practice. Alternatively, our auditing and site review capabilities can identify if systems remain appropriate for the hazards they protect, and our design teams can provide further advice should any shortfalls be discovered.
Our expert audits of sprinkler and deluge systems include important detail such as the operation of control valves, flow indicating devices, tamper switches, and highlight any changes in the use of a building or process area that risks a fire not being controlled or mitigated as intended. This includes performance testing of water supplies fed directly from town mains, via storage tanks and pumps, non-potable sources, or shared private ring-main facilities.
Triton Risk Management’s design team can hydraulically model more complex configurations for correlation with site test results, obtained through our ultrasonic flow measuring equipment, in order to identify any causes of performance degradation. We also advise on pipework condition inspection from non-intrusive wall thickness measurement to the removal of samples for detailed analysis.
