If you’re not familiar with Waking Watch (sometimes also called fire watch), it is a direct and reassuring response to the emergence of fire safety issues that were tragically exposed by the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017.
Waking Watch ensures that there are always suitable personnel on site to raise the alarm and help your residents evacuate in the event of a fire. These personnel are also responsible for preventing and – in some circumstances – extinguishing a fire.
Waking Watch is most commonly deployed for high-rise tower blocks but if your buildings are of a different type, we can still secure confidence for you. We always say it’s better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to protecting human life.
Exterior cladding, like and similar to that used on the exterior of Grenfell Tower, is common and present on buildings across the UK. In response, we have a qualified and highly skilled Waking Watch team offering UK-wide coverage to ensure your buildings are safe, secure and monitored on-site overnight. They remain alert to any safety issues, and our personnel include fire wardens, fire marshals and fire watchmen.

From putting in the risk assessments and assignment instructions to liaising with the fire brigade, we handle it all.
